This beer came about through a collaboration with nearby Heavy Industry Brewing. The goal was to produce a modern take on the classic Pilsner style by incorporating New World hops. We felt the unique hop aromas would be complemented by some sourness and a relatively low level of alcohol. The result was a unique, cloudy beer with a tropical aroma that reminded us of papaya. So we named it after our own local beach resort: beautiful Bala Lake. Enjoy it with some pupu on your lanai. Mahalo.

The radio streams 24/7 beer content and features, interspersed with a great mix of music genres to suits everyones tastes and is a common accompaniment to many of our brew days!
We combined Idaho 7, Azacca and Simcoe Cryo for this one to give you a juicy IPA that’ll give you huge notes of Mango, Tropical Fruit and Citrus!
