Questions about Tap Door

What is Tap Door?

Tap Door is a craft beer marketplace where breweries list their beers for sale and beer lovers get to discover and buy them.

Where does the stock come from?

All stock listed on Tap Door comes from our warehouse, the breweries send their beers to us where we store, pick and pack the order for fulfilment. This means when you see a beer as ‘in stock’ on the Tap Door website it really is in stock and ready for dispatch.

Who sets the prices on Tap Door?

The breweries decide the selling price and any promotional pricing for their beers listed on Tap Door.

Placing an Order on Tap Door

What’s ‘Build-a-Box’?

It’s a 12 box of beers that you get to pick yourself (remember the sweet counter at Woolies - it’s the big kid version!), every beer that is listed on Tap Door and ‘In Stock’ is available to order in a ‘Build a Box’, you can either add a beer to your box from the product page for the beer by clicking the ‘Add to Box’ button, or on the ‘Build a Box’ page of the website.

What’s the minimum number of beers I can order?

The minimum number of beers you can order is 6.

What’s a ‘Brewery Box’?

A brewery box is a 12 box of beers from one single brewery, this may be 12 of the same beers or a pre-selected mix of beers from the same brewery.

Delivery

What Couriers Do you use?

We use Evri for standard delivery and DPD for Next day delivery services.

How much is Delivery?

Our Standard Delivery (Evri) is £3.99 per order, and Next Day delivery (DPD) is £7.99 per order.

Do you offer Next Day Delivery?

Yes, we offer DPD Next Day delivery, this option is available to select at checkout and priced at £7.99

How fast is Delivery

Standard delivery (Evri) takes 2-5 working days, depending on your area. Next Day delivery (DPD) will arrive the next working day when an order is placed before 2pm.

Note: Please keep in mind that the time of day you order, weekends and bank holidays might affect this.

Can I track my Delivery?

Yes, all orders are trackable and you will receive a tracking linking in the order dispatch email.

Can I return a Beer (Cancellations and Returns)?

Due to the nature of the products, all cases are non-refundable unless they are defective or damaged. If this is the case you need to REFUSE THE PARCEL with the courier and let us know, we can then issue a refund or send a replacement (whichever you prefer).

Do you ship orders internationally?

At this moment in time, we do not ship outside the United Kingdom, but we’re working on so stay tuned!

Gift Card FAQs

How do I use my Gift Card

  1. Add Beers to your cart as normal
  2. At checkout select ‘Gift Card’ in the payment options and input your code
  3. Your order will be discounted by the amount remaining on your gift card

Do I need a Tap Door account to use my gift card?

No, you can checkout as a ‘Guest’ using your gift card.

What if I don’t spend the full gift card amount?

Any gift card balance that you don’t use is saved against the card, so you can use it the next time you buy.

When does the Gift Card expire?

Gift Cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase, you’ll see the expiry date on your gift card email.
