Founded in 2022, Crooked River Brewing Co is a craft beer company based on the fringe of the Lake District in West Cumbria. The brewery was established after Jennings Brewery, the town’s last active brewery, closed its doors, ending over 150 years of local brewing heritage. To preserve this tradition, Crooked River Brewing Co was created to keep the region's brewing culture alive.

Crooked River Brewery Beers

Beers from Crooked River Brewing Co are brewed at Tractor Shed Brewing in Workington, thanks to the collaborative team there. The range includes a Pacific Ale inspired by Australian flavours, an award-winning DDH Pale, a classic West Coast IPA, and a gluten-free Helles Lager. Limited-edition releases are also introduced regularly to keep the selection fresh and exciting.

After years of experiencing global craft beer culture, the founders, Phil Scholey and Alan Fitton-Crellin, made it their mission to bring that same passion for great beer to West Cumbria.
