Description

Based on the classic Bitter Shandy, Lemonale is a 2.2% light ale brewed with heritage barley and fresh, organic lemon juice front and centre. Light citrus sourness adds depth and balance to a sweet, caramel grist with East Kent Goldings providing a gentle bitterness and earthy, floral aromatics. Amber coloured with tight white foam and soft carbonation, this is a modern, all natural version of the much-loved British pub shandy. Less sweet than anything made with lemonade but with plenty of body and no less refreshing, this is a full-flavoured beer that’s light in alcohol content and doesn’t feel like a compromise.
