Bullhouse Brewery, founded in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is a testament to the passion for great beer and a strong sense of community. Established by Willy Mayne, the journey of this craft brewery began in 2011 after an eye-opening road trip around the west coast of the US with his brother. Inspired by the vibrant beer culture and distinct flavours experienced in places like Green Flash Brewery in San Diego, Willy returned home with a vision.

Upon returning to Belfast, Willy began home brewing on his family farm and eventually set out to convert the old bull's house into a 500 sq ft brewery. Over the course of a year, he worked tirelessly, sourcing second-hand equipment from dairy farms and other breweries across Ireland, even crafting a mash tun from a converted catering fridge. Though starting a commercial brewery for £600 led to a humble beginning, the result was an authentic space that produces exceptional beer.

Today, Bullhouse Brewery remains dedicated to crafting high-quality, flavourful beers that reflect the adventurous spirit of its origins. By merging traditional brewing techniques with innovative ideas, Bullhouse continues to push the boundaries of what great beer can be. As a testament to its roots, the brewery also maintains a strong focus on community, fostering an atmosphere where people can come together and celebrate the love of beer.
