About Tap Social Movement

Tap Social Movement was born from a passion for both great beer and justice. As a social enterprise, they focus on creating community spaces and providing employment for prisoners and prison leavers. By offering more than 85,000 hours of paid work, reducing reoffending and empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives.

Tap Social Brewery

The award-winning Tap Social Brewery in North Oxford produces a range of accessible craft beers, as well as small-batch experimental brews at its flagship taproom in West Oxford. Open every weekend, the taproom has become one of Oxford’s most popular destinations, hosting live music, charity fundraisers, and community events.

Venues and Tap Social Beer

In addition to the brewery, Tap Social movement runs a bakehouse, offering sourdough bread and pastries. The Market Tap, located in Oxford’s historic Covered Market, and a bar at Lock29 in Banbury also extends their mission by creating inclusive spaces for the community to gather and enjoy great beer.
